DyslexiaDyslexia is a learning difficulty that causes problems with learning language-based skills. It is a neurological condition that affects around 10 - 20% of the population to some degree. People who have dyslexia or dyslexia symptoms often have trouble with reading, writing and spelling. It can also affect: concentration, short term memory, maths, coordination and communication skills. So, being incapable of paying attention for long periods of time, finding it hard to make friends, being prone to tantrums and seemingly insensitive to other people’s feelings are also indications of a dyslexic condition. ADHDADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is the term used to cover the various syndromes where there is either attention deficit, hyperactivity or both. So ADHD is used to refer to people who suffer from attention deficit, whether they have hyperactivity or not. Previously the term ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) was used to describe people with just attention deficit, however this term is now no longer used, as all cases are now referred to as ADHD.
